Stamford AFC fans will have a chance to look round the club’s new home at the end of the month.

A post construction preview evening is planned for Friday, September 26 at the Borderville Sports Centre off Ryhall Road.

The £5 million pound project, which has been grant funded by The Football Association, Football Foundation and Skills Funding Agency with remaining cost split between Burghley House Preservation Trust and New College Stamford was constructed in just under 60,000 man hours by RG Carter and sports specialists Limonta Smith.

Turnstiles and an open door will host all Daniels supporters and local community from 6pm to 10am on the day.

Visitors will be offered the chance to walk around the facility and new Zeeco Stadium.

The club said a grand opening is planned for later in the year when a high profile personality will officially open Borderville Sports Centre.
