Rangers beat Buckby to reach final eight

DEEPING Rangers finally claimed the prize scalp of Long Buckby, winning 3-2 in the UCL knockout Cup on Saturday.

Rangers had come close to beating twice Buckby in the league but ended up defeated on both occasions by a side that still boast a 100 percent record in the league.

Rangers were 2-0 down on Saturday before Mark Jones, Matt Heron and Josh Moreman ensured Deeping’s name went into the quarter final draw.

They also had a Kevin Brader goal disallowed and a Jones penalty saved no the way to a memorable victory.
