The fixtures are beginning to stack up on Stamford AFC as yet another Evo-Stik Northern Premier League match has been called off because of a cup match.

The Daniels were due to travel to Stourbridge on Tuesday night but the game has been postponed after the home side’s draw in the FA cup third round qualifying at Shildon.

The two sides played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday while Stamford had a weekend off after being knocked out of the competition a round earlier by Grantham Town.

The Gingerbreads exited the competition on Saturday after losing 2-1 to North Ferriby United.

The Daniels now have to wait until Saturday’s trip to Halesowen to return to competitive action.
