STAMFORD and Deeping Rangers both have tough cup ties tomorrow.
The Daniels take on Evo-Stik Premier side Matlock Town away in the second round of the FA Trophy, while an injury-hit Rangers host fellow UCL side Holbeach United.
Matlock are eighth in the table, one tier above Stamford’s but have only won one in four matches this month. Dangerman is Ian Holmes, who has scored eight times.
Deeping’s opponents have had a good start to the season, winning seven from 11 to sit seventh in the UCL Premier Division.
And Deeping boss Tuncay Korkmaz had no doubt about the challenge his side faces. He said: “We will go into this game as underdogs due to the number of injuries we have.”
Both games start at 3pm. A coach leaves Stamford’s ground at 11.30am. Seats were still available this week. Call the club for details.
