Stamford manager David Staff said: “We are well and truly in a relegation dogfight with three or four others.

“We have to focus on what we have got to do. It’s an old cliche but we have got to take each game as it comes.

“We don’t want to be looking around at what other teams are doing but if comes down to the last couple of games that is going to happen.”

Staff said his side has shown they can beat the best in the league when they are at their best and there is no reason they can’t do it on Saturday.

“It will be like an away game because they will probably bring a thousand fans down with the them. We will just have to imagine they are cheering for us in all their red.

“It’s as much a mental thing. We have got to respect them but we have to believe that we can do it.”

Staff will be without the club’s leading scoring Ryan Robbins who in now unavailable for selection for the next five games.

He will miss the first two on international duty with St Kitts and Nevis and when he returns his three game ban will kick in after he was shown red on Saturday.

Tomorrow Staff can call upon his captain Richard Jones who played midweek once again after serving a three match bad of his own and Gareth Jelleyman who has was absent midweek after badly cutting his lip.
