Stones to host Daniels in Stamford derby tomorrow evening

THE Daniels will cross town to play Blackstones at Lincoln Road on Tuesday evening.

The friendly comes on the back of great wins for both sides at the weekend.

Stamford beat Sheffield 4-3 on Friday evening and Blackstones beat Daventy United 3-1 away from home with former Daniels striker Simon Mowbray scoring twice. Adam Scotcher also scored for Stones.

Kieran Watson, Joe Pheasant, Bruno Holden and Danny Brooks were all on target for Stamford with Brooks firing in a free kick with the final kick of the game.

Tomorrow’s friendly kicks off at 7.30pm. Entry costs £3.
