THE Daniels picked up their first points away from home; Stones won in the FA Vase and Deeping Rangers put six past Kempstones on Saturday.
Stamford’s 2-1 win at Newcastle Town was their first victory away from the PK Arena in the league this season, and came courtesy of first half strikes from Lee Beeson and Sam Mullarkey.
The win lifts Stamford to eight in the table with four wins from six matches.
BLACKSTONES put five past Kimberley Town at Lincoln Road on Saturday with Danny Barker netting a hat-trick.
The visitors opened the scoring with Anthony White scoring after just 12 minutes but Luke Hunnings equalised with a header ten minutes later.
Barker scored his first on the half hour and although Kimberly levelled in the 42nd minute, Barket was on hand to put Stones back in front just before the break.
He completed his hat-trick, scoring Stones’ fourth, a quarter of an hour from the end and Liam Buttery made it five just minutes mlater.
Blackstones face Holwell in the next round.
A RAMPANT Deeping Rangers side went one better, putting put six past newly promoted Kempstone Rovers at Outgang Road.
Josh Moreman began a first-half rout in the fourth minute and Mark Jones soon added a second. Phil Draycott pulled one back to make it 2-1 after just 11 minutes.
Moreman restored the two-goal advantage and then completed his hat-trick in the 28th minute.
Jones added the fifth before the break and should have completed his hat-tick but saw his penalty saved in the second half. George Cox scored the only goal of the second half with five minutes remaining.
