North Luffenham Golf Club held its end-of-year prize-giving ceremony recently.
The awards at Luffenham are made twice-yearly and the most recent prizes were presented by club captain Ken Jones.
Back on the golf course, the Summer Eclectic has now finished, with Alan Swindley coming out on top with a nett score of 56.3 (60 gross). He was closely followed by Gordon Knox with 57.3 (63 gross) and Chris Lee scoring a nett 57.7 (69 gross).
In the recent midweek medal, the ever-consistent Graham Ball led the way with an impressive 40 points, reducing his handicap to 17 - that means a six-stroke drop this year. Second, on 37 points (off 17) was Derek Cooper, with Chris Lee third with 35 points (playing off 23).
