Shadid Mohammad was the clear match winner for Barnack in the Hunts League Division Two, leading with both bat and ball to give his side victory over Peterborough Thirds on Saturday.
Barnack won by 8 wickets after their visitors were bowled out for 118.
Barnack won the toss and elected to field and it was not long until Mohammad had his first of five wickets.
After the Peterborough openers put up a good start, both reaching 33, Mohammad came in to clean-up the lower order.
In a stunning display of bowling he took five wickets for just six runs over 11.4 overs, enjoying nine maidens during his spell.
If that wasn’t enough having stuck-out half the Peterborough line-up he knocked a superb 74 not out to secure the win in the 16th over 120-2.
Stamford Town’s game against Old Eastonians was cancelled.
