In Division 2, the two teams vying for runners-up spot each played Nomads this week – and both won 6-4.
Harry Jackson was the unbeaten star for Bourne TTC A in their victory, while Ziggy Pobereziuk picked up two points which proved key; for Tallington A, Paul Ramm achieved a full-house, and he teamed up with Richard Allen to secure the vital doubles point.
In each match, Nick McDowall won twice for Nomads, but, despite Nick Goodman’s supporting brace against Tallington, Nomads can only be cheered by rising one place in the Division 2 table.
