Stamford Tri Club had a great turnout at the Woodhall Spa Sprint Triathlon which was the third and final race in the Midlands Series.

Race stages included a 400m swim in an outdoor pool, a 24k bike and a 5k run - all in perfect cool weather.

Diane Parperis had won her age group (45-49) at the previous two races (Soutwell Tri) and (Lincoln) and made it three out of three to win the series outright.

Chris Banham,Tom Hamlyn,Jess Fisher and Zoe Parperis were all competing in their first triathlon.
