Greetham Valley golfer Jordan Burdall has broken his second course record in as many weeks.
The 19-year-old plus two player from Cottesmore took the club’s Valley course record last month.
And now he has the Lakes course record.
Playing in the midweek medal last week, Burdall shot a gross 65, nett 66 to take the record, the lowest gross and the medal.
He said, like his record-breaking Valley round, course management was the key to his success.
Burdall adds these two records to his club championship win earlier this year.
Trevor Smith, who had held the record with a gross 67 for several years, was second in the medal with a gross 69, nett 67 and was cut to one. Kevin Shilham off nine, Ryan Tarrant off four and Peter Bagshaw off nine were third, fourth and fifth on count back after they all came in with a nett 70.
