THE first match of this season’s Ketco Cup was an all-Tallington affair, and the B team undid their A counterparts to the tune of 5-0.

Ollie Bullimore, Jake Shouler and Wally Knox all made the most of their handicap advantage and they will face Bourne D in the next round.

DESPITE fielding just two players, Yaxley BL defeated Uffington CC A 7-3 in Division 1.

Shaun Murray and John Bloomfield eased the champions to another comfortable victory, while the cricketers still await their first win of the campaign.

In Division 2, the lead changed again as MTTG B overcame Uffington CC B 6-4.

Andy Johnson starred on this occasion, and his three wins were backed up with a brace from Nicki Farrell. Martyn Dennis replied with two for Uffington, but they slip to third in the table.

Bourne D have eased into second place following an 8-2 victory over Nomads.

Kevin Greenfield and Chris Holland each remained unbeaten as competition for a top two finish in the division increases.
