Top racing tipster Kevan Minter, known as The Colonel, gives readers his top tips for the week ahead. Kevan, who lives in Stamford, is trackside most days and is regularly on television.

He said: “It’s an honour to win, especially with a horse I bred.”

Lady Cecil’s Wild Coco won the Group 3 Blackrock-backed Lillie Langtry Stakes on her seasonal debut for the second year on the bounce at Glorious Goodwood on Thursday last week.

Moonlight Cloud (5/4 f) was voted the best mare in Europe after winning the Larc Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deaville on Sunday.

Freddy Head’s highly regarded filly won this race for the third time powering clear to beat Leathal Force with ease and is expected to make a quick return to Deauville for the Jacques Ie Marois this weekend.

Sole Power is the money horse (4/1 from 5/1) for the Nunthorpe Stakes at York at the end of this month.

Coral Eclipse winner AI Kazeem has been well backed this week with Paddy Power ( 13/8 from 7/4 ) for the Juddmonte International Stakes at York later this month and is 13/2 with BetVictor for the Prix De L’arc De Triomphe in October.

Lady Cecil’s Al Guwair will be a major factor in the 8.15 at Lingfield on Saturday, Frankie Dettori takes the ride.

At Newmarket Baby Bush looks a major player for red hot trainer Richard Hannon in the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes.
