WHISSENDINE’S Mike Graves has won the Bagshaw Bowl at Stoke Rochford Golf Club.
The club’s seniors compete for the bowl each year in memory of former member Dick Bagshaw.
Mike won with a magnificent 43 points, ahead of Mike Hastings who was second on 41, and Brian Keightley, who was third on 40.
Dick’s son Duncan attended and presented the prizes. This year’s event raised £470 for Prostate Cancer charities bringing the total to £3,660 since Dick donated the trophy in 2007.

STOKE Seniors recorded their first away win of the season by clinching the 52 Match Plate for the third consecutive year.
Stoke play Oundle over two legs for the trophy and won with an aggregate score of 9½-6½. The Plate set up to commemorate Stoke Seniors 52 match home unbeaten record of a few years ago, which was ended in defeat by Oundle.
