About 400 riders took part in the Cottesmore Hunt Pony Club area 6 horse trials at Flitteris Park near Oakham.

The two-day event was a qualifying competition for the Pony Club Championships 2013 and attracted entrants from near and far.

The Cottesmore intermediate team of Will Bell, Charlotte Bell, Ed Beddows and Yoyo Farmer Day have qualified for the intermediate championships.

Individually Cottesmore members Maya Nicholson and Jasper Tordoff have qualified for the novice championships.
