The B team also drew when travelling to Carholme. Matilde Kedzlie and Norton halved, Cross and Brown lost 3&4, Newcombe and Anne Ellis halved, while Theresa Starbuck and Sue Watson won 8&6.

The club held their annual Unders and Overs Competition recently with Bev Harpham winning the Unders with 38 stableford points.

The competition was played over 18 holes with Jenny Wilson second on 37 and Maureen Orwell third with 34.

The Overs played 13 holes with Norton winning with 26 points.

Rowena Hughes was second with 24, with Chris Vickers third on 23 points.

The Monthly Medal saw a small field of just 13 due to heavy rain in the morning with Platt winning with a net of 78.

Sue Dewar was the runner-up with 80 and Chris Vickers was third with 81.

Fortunately the rain eased and most players managed to stay reasonably dry.
