Two Velo Club Rutland riders represented the club at Sunday’s Midlands regional cyclo-cross championships.

Junior racer Ollie Maxwell rode to a stunning silver medal on a very technical course. Ollie has already been snapped up by Forme Racing team for next season.

In the hour-long seniors’ event, Lawrence Green joined a strong field with the aim of just finishing, but he crossed the line in 33rd in only his second race at the discipline.
