Double will help Oaks get back on track

The Oaks will hope that recent history repeats itself when they travel to play Aylestone St James on Saturday afternoon.

Oakham picked up their first win of the season at home to Jimmies earlier in their campaign, and a double against the Leicester side would set their season back on track after a disrupted end-of-year.

They have played just once since beating Nuneaton Old Edwardians at the end of November, losing 25-20 to Ashbourne a month later.

Victory against the bottom side, however, could lift The Oaks back into the top three.

Saturday’s match at Aylestone starts at 2.15pm.
