Last Sunday saw the Bozzie 10k race in Market Bosworth.
Amongst a small field of 82 runners were Rutland Running and Tri Club athletes Kerry Clarke, Richard Evans and Paul Rogerson.
Paul had specifically targeted the 10k in order to gain a good result for his County Standard award.
The race took place on a glorious Autumn day on a pretty but undulating course around Bosworth.
Richard Evans was first home for the club finishing 23rd in 43:54.
Paul was next home in 42nd place in a fantastic 48:14 and Kerry was not too far behind in 53rd place in a time of 50:38.
Paul smashed his aim of a Silver award. In fact he was not far away from a Gold standard time. Paul has completed the required five distances and is currently qualified for the bronze award. He now has four silvers and a bronze so no doubt he will be aiming to put another good performance in before the end of the year to promote himself to an overall silver.
Kerry also produced a very good time on the back of a new Parkrun PB time of 24:20 at Corby the previous day.
