STAMFORD’s Strider set some sharp times at the Thorney 10k at the end of March.
The Striders fielded a bumper team in near-perfect running conditions and 10 personal best times were set by club members, who took a clutch of race prizes.
Vicky Old, Briony James and Amanda Hannah picked up the second placed women’s team. Vicky also won 4th lady, and Christine Armstrong 1st FV55.
Jim Morris (9th over all) won 1st MV45, and Paul Hannah 1st MV55.
