Indie-rock band The Lounge is organising a mini music festival in Stamford.
The Glaston-Burghley festival will be held at the Lord Burghley pub, in Broad Street, on August 16.
The Lounge teamed up with the area’s bands to create a charity event that can be built on year after year, after being inspired by the story of Stephen Sutton - the 19 year old cancer victim who raised more than £3 million before he died.
Paul Hemmings from The Lounge said: “Stamford is rich in local talent and we have been overwhelmed by the positive response.”
Prizes donated by businesses will be auctioned and funds raised given to Stephen’s chosen charity, The Teenage Cancer Trust. To find out more follow Glaston-Burghley on Twitter or The Lord Burghley on Facebook.
