ABOUT 150 people gathered for four ghoulish walks for halloween at the weekend.
Deeping St James hosted the spooky treks around the village from The Cross on Saturday and Sunday evening.
Last year two walks were held, but these proved so popular that organiser and parish councillor Judy Stevens was faced with a waiting list.
This time she decided to organise an extra two, with more ghostly and ghoulish stories, adding an 18th century murder to the mix.
Coun Stevens said: “The walks were very successful. We had people coming from as far away as Lincoln for them.
“The stories told during the walks were re-enacted to those who came along.”
About £700 was raised for Deeping St James in Bloom.
