PETS will be strutting their stuff in the seventh Stamford Dog Show, Pet Show and family fun day on Sunday.
Members of the Trinity Methodist Church are organising the eventwhich takes place on The Meadows.
The competitions will have two judging rings covering pedigree classes and novelty classes ranging from cutest puppy to the best sausage catcher.
There is also a small animal pet show and a reptile tent where visitors will be able to handle lizards, snakes and spiders.
Other attractions include alpacas, the chance to have your photo taken with birds of prey, walking on water in the hydroballs, a funfair, a dog agility ring to put your pets to the test and a range of market stalls.
The fun kicks off at 10.30am with a church service led by the Rev Andy Fyall. Activities also open at 10.30am with dog registration at 11.30am and pet registration at midday. Displays in the main ring include hearing dogs at 11.30am, sniffer dogs from Stocken Prison at 12.15pm, a rehoming parade by the Labrador Rescue Trust at 1pm and dog behaviourist Adam Beral at 2pm. Competitions start at 1pm with the best in show named at about 4.30pm.
