Illustrated talk on birds on September 25

Have your say

FIND out how the robin got its red breast or why a peacock has eyes on its tail in a fun talk about the folklore of birds at the Top Lodge centre in Fineshade Woods on Sunday from 2.30pm.

The illustrated talk is full of strange stories about some of the UK’s most familiar birds.

You can find out the truth behind the story of storks bringing babies and what wagtails have to do with the origin of tortoises. Places are limited so advance booking is advisable. Tickets are £4 (RSPB members half price) from the RSPB on 01780 444691.
