ONE of Britain’s most controversial broadcasters will be at Uppingham School on Thursday from 7.30pm.
John Humphrys has been a journalist for more than half a century and was BBC television’s youngest foreign correspondent. He has anchored most front line television radio news and current affairs programmes and has been a hate figure for both major political parties. John is also the author of seven books, several newspaper columns and manages his own charity.
The evening will include a question answer session and a chance to purchase copies of his new book.
Tickets are £15 (£13) from Uppingham Theatre box office - 01572 820820 or email@example.com
