Northamptonshire’s largest community based music festival will be held this weekend.
Offering a wide range of local music, the Gretton Music Festival opens tomorrow with concerts taking place at various venues throughout the village until Monday.
Tomorrow’s programme includes Unplugged and Thirsty at the Blue Bell Inn. On Saturday HMS Welland and Chanterelle will be at Lydia’s Coffee Shop; Pennyless will bring Tales from the Tulgey Wood to Gretton Village Hall -tickets £10 (£8) from the post office or on the door; Blaize Jones White will be at the Blue Bell Inn and Dirty Thunder will perform at the Gretton Sports and Social Club. On Sunday Stevie Rigsby and guests will be at The Talbot Inn; the Laughter comedy and music show will be held at the village hall - tickets £10 from the post office and Picnic and Praise will be held in the Paddock at the Baptist Chapel.
On Monday the Hatton Arms will host an open mic session from 2pm.
