Winners of the Art in Lyddington competition held before Christmas will exhibit their work in Oakham.
Alan Oliver, Robert Goodwin, Rob Bibby and Victoria George all won their categories at the “Art in Lyddington” exhibition in December and to mark their achievement they will display their work in the Victoria Hall, High Street, Oakham, from February 27 to March 4.
Rutland-based artists Alan Oliver, Robert Goodwin and Victoria George are painters who each have a different style, using oils, pastels and watercolours, and focusing on landscapes and wildlife.
Alan won the general painting prize, Robert won the Pat Bealy animal prize and Victoria won the Public’s Choice prize at the exhibition, which was judged by Mike Goldmark, Peter Jones and John Gilboy.
Rob Bibby, of Woodnewton near Oundle, is a potter who decorates his work in varied images. He won the ceramics prize.
The Oakham exhibition is open daily from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Admission is free.
