BURGHLEY House will host a seasonal spectacle from Thursday until Sunday next week.
Christmas at Burghley offers stately food, carols in the cobbled courtyard and a crafts pavilion for some seasonal shopping.
The Crafts for Christmas event, staged by the Rural Crafts Association opens on Thursday with a host of unique gift ideas all under one roof.
For an extra touch of seasonal magic there is festive food and drink at the free-to-enter Christmas Fine Food Market on Saturday and Sunday next week. In association with Tastes of Lincolnshire, local producers will be offering regional, award-winning specialities with a seasonal twist and carol singing will add to the festive feel.
Special Festive Floral Workshops, with Burghley’s head gardener, John Burrows, will be held on Thursday and Friday next week
Although the house is closed, Burghley’s parkland is open all year from 8am to 8pm or dusk if earlier and is free to all.
