CLOTHES for men, women and children will be lining the racks at a charity sale today and tomorrow.

The Rutland Macmillan Clothing Sale, which has been running for more than 40 years, will be held at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel between 5pm and 8pm tomorrow and between 8.30am and 1.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets for Friday cost £15, which includes champagne and canapes. Tickets for Saturday cost £5, where there will be a range of bargains on clothes and accessories for men, women and children.

Last year’s event raised an amazing £40,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and organisers are hoping to top that.

Publicity officer Debbie Johnson said: “We have got a fabulous collection of clothes this year, particularly designer wear and more men’s clothing than ever.

“We are all looking forward to a fantastic event and we hope to raise a phenomenal amount of money.”
