FIVE men are gearing up to bare all on stage next week.
Stamford Amateur Musical Society’s production of The Full Monty begins next week and the blokes in the buff are looking forward to it.
Chairman Adrian Worgan, who plays the lead role of Dave in the show, said: “Everyone is very confident about next week.
“Rehearsals have gone really well, we’ve had a lot of fun and I think that will come across to the audience.
“It will definitely be a good show, everyone is really up for it.”
Adrian will be joined by Andrew Cleaver, Mike Hammond, Guy Sharman and Mark Anthony Philips in the classic production, which follows five unemployed men who hatch a scheme to start a striptease act.
He added: “It hasn’t been easy getting everyone together for rehearsals with work commitments and so on.
“But the director, choreographer and musical director have been fantastic and have really brought out the best in us.
“We have already outsold last year’s production, and tickets are still selling fast. It will be a great night of laughter and entertainment.”
The Full Monty is being staged at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre from April 12-16 with performances nightly at 7.30pm and a matinee performance at 3.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets are still available for £15 (£12) from the theatre box office on 01780 766455, or online at www.stamford-corn-exchange.co.uk
