STAMFORD Shoestring Theatre’s latest production, Ladies’ Day opens at Stamford Arts Centre on Tuesday.
The play follows four fish-factory workers, Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda, who put on their glad rags for a day at the races.
Amid the fizz, flirting and the odd flutter the girls discover some truths about themselves and each other, experience some highs and lows, but always have fun – with raucous good humour and a few tugged heartstrings along the way.
Performances start at 7.45pm from Tuesday to Saturday next week.
