STAMFORD Gilbert and Sullivan Players’ production of The Yeomen of the Guard opens at Stamford Corn Exchange on Tuesday, October 2.
The dramatic and colourful tale is set within the Tower of London in Tudor times and contains a unique mixture of humour and tragedy, passion and pathos covering the full range of mortal emotions.
Directed by Alex Moores and under the musical leadership of Rod Dawkins, this production will appeal to Gilbert and Sullivan enthusiasts, as well as those preferring grand opera.
Performance times are 7.30pm from Tuesday to Saturday, October 6, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday.
