This November marks the completion of Deeping Leisure Centre’s gym improvement.

The new gym features a great range of Life Fitness equipment including Cardiovascular, Resistance and Fixed Weight Machines, plus new functional training equipment featuring Medicine balls, Kettlebells and Stability Balls all housed in a revitalised first floor gym.

Alongside the launch of the new gym, Deepings Leisure Centre has also launched a health and wellbeing programme that includes Health Walks (available every Tuesday at 10am) and a GP Referral Scheme to help people with health issues back into regular activity.

Commenting on the completion of the new facilities, Kadee Chester, general manager at Deepings Leisure Centre said: “The new gym and the launch of our new health and wellbeing programme mean that we are in a great position to be able to provide our local community with the very best in opportunities to get active.

“The equipment in the gym is fantastic and with the knowledge that our team now has around ways to achieve fitness goals we can help our local community get and stay active.”

South Kesteven District Council’s venues and facilities manager Paul Stokes said: “We’re pleased the new gym and health and wellbeing programme will give residents in the Deepings and surrounding area a great choice to stay fit this festive period and into 2016.

“We’re pleased to work in partnership with 1Life to revitalise popular features that gym users really want whilst offering new services that will appeal to new audiences.”
