Hunters Interiors in Stamford, Lincolnshire: Autumn trends and expert tips for interior designs in 2019
The arrival of autumn marks the beginning of cooler temperatures, beautiful early sunsets, and a few tattered yellow and russet leaves still clinging to bare branches.
And as the seasons change before your very window, now could be the perfect time to look into changing the style of your home’s interiors.
With the turn of each year comes new and exciting interior design trends and 2019 has already seen some major trends take hold across thousands of homes.
“There is a real feel of opulence, rich bold colours and patterns being used,” said expert interior designer Candida Smith, who co-owns Hunters Interiors in Stamford along with Georgina Teesdale.
“1920’s Deco glamour is very popular with the use of luxurious patterned and plain velvets and lots of gold and marble about.
“My advice of a quick-fix way to give a room a fresh look for the Autumn would be to choose warm strong colours either in paint or in fabrics to put on cushions to bring a cosy warm glow to a room.
“Burnt oranges, mustard golds and reds would help prepare a room for those cosy autumn and winter nights in.”
While the overriding theme this year has been on more sustainability and natural materials, there are some people who opt for something maybe a little or even totally different.
At Hunters Interiors, Candida and Georgina infuse every part of a client’s individual interior design project with creativity and style.
“We work together with our clients on interior projects to unlock their property’s potential, whilst also improving the flow and functionality of their space and ensuring every detail works in harmony with the next.
“Those projects may include any or all of the following; curtains, blinds, fabrics, wallpapers, paints, flooring, furniture, lighting and home accessories.
“We go to great lengths to ensure our clients are thrilled with the schemes and products selected for them.”
Georgina adds: “Our showroom consultations are free of charge and there is absolutely no time limit.
“We believe at Hunters Interiors that the key to operating a highly successful small business, is to know your client base, maintain excellent customer care throughout the project and above all be extremely efficient in delivering high end good quality results.”
