South Kesteven District Council drops plans to buy £103,000 LED screen

Plans to buy a £103,000 LED screen have been dropped by South Kesteven District Council.

Last February, officials proposed buying the multi-media screen to show sporting and cultural events as a way to reduce social isolation.

However, a report prepared for a council meeting this week said: “The scheme is no longer progressing as it is not deemed to be economically viable.”
