£5,000-worth of camera equipment stolen from car parked in layby near Bourne Woods

About £5,000-worth of camera equipment was stolen from a car parked in a layby near Bourne Woods on Sunday, October 27.

It happened between 3pm and 4pm and the owner returned to find their window smashed and the camera equipment and lenses missing.

Inspector Rachel Blackwell, neighbourhood policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, said: "We have seen very little crime at Bourne Woods in recent months, but remind people visiting to enjoy the area that valuables should not be left in cars."


Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101.
