Chris and Kelly Needham, landlords of the Danish Invader in Stamford, receive surprise gift from their regulars

A pub landlord who admits he likes to chat was left speechless by his regulars last weekend.

Chris Needham and his wife, Kelly, were putting together the final the Sunday lunch orders at the Danish Invader in Stamford when the pub CCTV made them aware of some people outside.

After a knock at the door they found no less than 60 regulars socially distancing in the pub car park off Empingham Road, applauding them and ready to present a token of their gratitude for keeping the popular pub going through the pandemic.
