7,000 litres of red diesel stolen from Bourne




Seven thousand litres of red diesel have been stolen from a premises in Bourne.

The theft took place sometime between 6pm yesterday (July 8) and 6.30am this morning (July 9) from a bowser and farm equipment in Spalding Road.

Inspector Ian Martin, neighbourhood policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, said: "If people become aware of individuals trying to selling cheap diesel, they should get in touch with us."

Anyone with information, should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 37 of July 9.
