A1 reopens in Cambridgeshire after horse collapses

The A1 in Cambridgeshire has now reopened in both directions after a horse collapsed in a horse box.

The road was closed between the B645 Kimbolton Road and the A428 at Eaton Socon causing long delays in the area.

Police were called at around 10.40am this morning and fire, ambulance and a vet are on the scene.

The road is now open but residual delays remain.
