Adventurer Bear Grylls dropped in on a scouting troop at Burghley House near Stamford today (Saturday).

Chief Scout Bear landed at the house by helicopter as part of a whistle-stop mission to visit Scouts across the East Midlands.

The star, who has recently appeared on The Island with Bear Grylls, spoke to hundreds of youngsters from across Lincolnshire and Rutland, as well as scouting volunteers during the visit.
