Adventurer Sarah Outen amazes with her courage and determination

More than 50 clients from Age UK in Leicestershire and Rutland heard Sarah Outen talk about her highs and lows during her London2London: Via the World challenge. The talk took place in the conference room at Voluntary Action Rutland, in Oakham, on Thursday last week. Lisa Jackson, from Age UK, described the talk as “mesmerising and awe-inspiring”.

She added: “I listened to her story and was amazed at her courage and determination. I felt inspired that we can all make our dreams come true, we just have to be determined and never give up even in the face of adversity.”
