Air ambulance landed at Bourne Abbey Lawns after man assaulted




An air ambulance landed after a man was assaulted yesterday (Sunday, July 26).

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire air ambulance was called to help the 45-year-old in Bourne, and landed at the Abbey Lawns close to the town centre.

A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “Our ambucopter arrived on scene in just 18 minutes, a journey that could take up to an hour by land.
