MP Alan Duncan is preparing to answer questions on important issues as he attends a Young People Surgery in Oakham on Friday.
Rutland Youth Council is organising the event which gives young people the opportunity to question Mr Duncan about issues that are important to them.
More than 30 members of the youth council are expected to attend the event.
Ten places have also been offered to Casterton Business and Enterprise College, Catmose College and Uppingham Community College. All three schools have taken up this offer.
Coun Gene Plews (Con), portfolio holder for youth, said: “I am very much looking forward to welcoming Mr Duncan.
“We are all extremely grateful that he has found the time to come and speak to the young people of Rutland.
“I know that a lot of the young people are really looking forward to meeting him as well as having the chance to put questions to someone who really can make a difference.”
The event takes place on Friday at the Rutland County Council Chamber between 11am and 1pm.
