Amanda’s pizza entry is a winner

Pizza lovers can tuck into a delicious slice and help raise money for the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice Appeal.

The Knead Pubs Big Pizza Bake Off competition asked customers to dream up their perfect pizza. The lucky winner, Amanda Willson from Bourne, will now see her creation feature on the pubs’ menus. Her Thai Delight pizza features a base of Thai green curry sauce topped with marinated lemon grass chicken, picked ginger, sesame seed, pak choi, mozzarella and drizzled with a mango and lime yogurt and £1 from every pizza sold goes to the appeal.

Kneads pub owner Michael Thurlby said: “The pizza is now on our menus and proving popular already.”

The winning pizza will be available for £11.95 at The Tobie Norris in Stamford, Smith’s of Bourne, and The Lord Nelson in Oakham over the next three months.
