Careers fair at Bourne Academy is attended by RAF, the NHS and Lincolnshire Police

A careers fair was held for pupils of Bourne Academy.

The event, which takes place every year, has been designed to help pupils aged over 16 to explore their options.

They had sessions during the school day and parents were able to attend afterwards.

Lucy Conley, executive headteacher, said: “These are such important events in our school calendar, which are available for all of our pupils and parents."

More than 40 companies attended the event, including universities, colleges, apprentice employers and Bourne Academy’s sixth form.

Lincolnshire Police, the NHS, RAF and the British Army also attended the event to promote their selection of careers.
