Bourne Abbey Church Hall hosts Ginger Baker's daughter Nettie for fascinating talk

Nettie Baker, the daughter of world-famous drummer, Ginger Baker is giving a talk in Bourne.

Her dad was in the 1960s super-group Cream and Nettie has written multiple books about growing up with a rockstar for a father. She also ghost-wrote her father's autobiography 'Hellraiser'.

'An evening with Nettie Baker' will be hosted at Bourne Abbey Church Hall, on Saturday September 14 at 7pm. It will include a two-course meal, raffle and 1960s music quiz before Nettie takes to the stage with her funny anecdotes about rubbing shoulders with the world's greatest musicians.

The evening will also offer a book signing session as well as a Q and A once the show has finished, with books available to purchase for £15. Tickets for the show are on sale for £12 from Judy Smith on 01778 422219 with all profits going to Bourne Abbey Church.

Judy suggests buying tickets early to avoid missing out. People should feel free to bring their own drinks as there is no bar on the night.
