Sarah Dobson, Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Our teams were alerted to a burst water main on Borne Road, Carlby on Saturday morning (October 24). They worked quickly to isolate the burst and repair the section of pipe. Customers supplies were restored by 2.15pm.”

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and thank customers for their patience.”

“The water may appear cloudy or discoloured, but if customers run their tap for a short while this should clear. If households are still having problems, please contact us on 03457 145 145 or via Facebook or Twitter.”
