Anglian Water are investigating an ongoing leak in Conduit Road, Stamford, that froze over in this morning’s cold temperatures.

The leak, which often sends water running down the steep road, has been a problem for some time. Anglian Water engineers were at the scene today (Friday, January 15) and will return on Monday to investigate the problem.

Police have placed signs at either end of the road advising drivers to slow down due to an increased risk of ice.
