Residents of The Acres and Little Northfields retirement complexes in Barnack were delighted when fundraiser for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Denise Taylor, accompanied by two furry friends, visited their recent coffee morning to collect a cheque for £1,037.

The money was raised by residents on behalf of the charity and will be used to help train dogs like Duncan and Levi, pictured above.
